The Regional Education Continuum (REC) is a partnership between Finger Lakes Community College (FLCC) and local high schools aimed at improving college readiness in our region. Through a series of professional development opportunities, REC provides the space for teachers to communicate and collaborate around a common goal – student success.
REC provides its members the opportunity to attend regular workshops/conferences, visit each other’s classrooms/offices, and hear from experts in the field during guest speaker engagements. Since February of 2015, participants from the Canandaigua, Marcus Whitman, Naples, Newark, Penn Yan, Phelps-Clifton Springs, Romulus, Seneca Falls, South, Seneca, Victor, and Waterloo school districts have joined the team.
